I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth Cast your stone, cast it lightly The next stone might be headed for you Think you’re so cool, think you’re all that But you’re all ready old news It’s like a fleeting vision It’s like a myth that never happened Its like me verses you Only it never happened You’re on top, on top of the world But everyone gets dethroned Don’t think I am too old To create a bit of raucous It’s like a fleeting vision It’s like a myth that never happened Its like me verses you Only it never happened I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth Judge ye not lest ye be judged You with out sin cast the first stone I think when all is said and done We will be like withering grass It’s like a fleeting vision It’s like a myth that never happened Its like me verses you Only it never happened I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth I miss the sounds of my youth

I hate the man and the man hates me I hate to stand but he stands me Super choke hold is choking me They broke the mold when they made me I hate the man and the man hates me I hate to stand but he stands me Can’t promise I’ll try but I’ll try to promise All the while the fat lady sings Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da I hate the man and the man hates me Can’t see forest, I just see trees All my dreams went through the machine They broke the mold when they broke me Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da I hate the man and the man hates me I hate to stand but he stands me Super choke hold is choking me Who ever said you couldn’t strangle yourself? Hey Fat Lady… Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da Waba-doo-dat-ba-doo-dat-ba-doo-da

Epic tales from a future past Grand adventures with lightning swords Its science fantasy Princess power with good old blasters Redeemed scoundrels join the battle Its science fantasy Action figures brought the fun home Bought my first one before I saw the show I must have got the wrong one cause my dad brought me back I’ll never forget what he did next He bought one more and said “You need the hero” Fallen dark lord, an evil master Technologic terror tactics Its science fantasy One line wonders from bounty hunters Backgrounds implied so don’t deny There’s a history I heard the theme song at my grandma’s house My uncle was playing it from a record on the shelf He asked me would I like to see the show He took my brother and I with grandma in tow It was a double feature, that’s how I saw the first two Puppet master, a hairy giant Tin can humor, a golden tongue Such cute robots Cool space ships, like flying Lego All in real space, all in real time I believed it all My brother got scared of the hairy side kick But oh did he love that little green man We loved those movies way past prime And bought all the toys from discount bins Just two poor boys with no chagrin

Tattooed Lady with a man in the can Can’t find your money no place to run There’s only one thing a man can do And it’s order one more and drink it through Grab my gun and jump up quick And hope to hell they haven’t seen that trick Fire one round off any where Just for effect and then I’m out of there Hear my gun! Hear my gun! You better run when you hear my gun! Hear my gun! Hear my gun! You better run cause here I come! You may have seen the good You may have seen the bad You may have even seen the ugly But you ain’t seen nothing like me Hear my gun! Hear my gun! You better run when you hear my gun! Hear my gun! Hear my gun! You better run cause here I come! You get two times the story with 2x the Mono Get two times the story with 2x the Mono Two times the story with 2x the Mono Check it on the flip side There’s power in the chemistry of this infirmity There’s power in meekness, don’t say weakness Cause my identity is intensity I need a tattoo that reads “Grace and Mercy” Find a good man and I’ll find a good con Find a good line and I’ll give you a song Show me a saint and I’ll show you a sinner Now give them a gun and watch their morals grow thinner There’s power in love, there’s power in hate Both have the power to perpetuate Live by the sword you’ll die by the gun Now man ain’t that a conundrum Who’s the brave man now? The one on the right side of the wrong side of a gun I say Ba-Na Na Bam… There’s power in love, there’s power in hate Both have the power to perpetuate Live by the sword you’ll die by the gun Now man ain’t that a conundrum

Sunshine 05:48
Hey sunshine My darling sunshine Believe me when I say That you are truly bright sunshine The brightest star is surrounded by darkness Every star lives in darkness The dimmest star cuts the darkness Every star is sunshine somewhere Bright sunshine collects all the rain And stores it in clouds of pain Brown eyes turn to grey On any old blue day Remember what I say Hey sunshine My darling sunshine The brightest star is surrounded by darkness Every star lives in darkness The dimmest star cuts the darkness Every star is sunshine somewhere…

Robot stole my girl, a robot stole my job Robots have infested the only world I know And they say I am a dinosaur, and maybe it’s true And the only thing I’m good for is finally through I feel so misplaced And I feel so displaced Cause I never kept the pace So if you can’t beat ‘em, you might as well join ‘em So I bought myself a robot, and his name is Jones

If folks don’t like you, ya better not stick around If her folks don’t like you, ya better not settle down If folks don’t want you, ya better move right along It’s better to just move on I say peace, peace, on your brother’s friends Peace, peace on your mother’s den But there’s no peace, peace, for the mechanical beast Its all art, and rock, and science fiction It’s easier to talk if you don’t cause friction Cause if folks don’t like you, ya might be asked to move along I’m so tired of moving on I say peace, peace on your brother’s friends Peace, peace on your mother’s den Peace, peace on your brother’s friends If I say peace, peace can I come again But there’s no peace, peace for the mechanical beast The truth is so cold The truth most be told I’m just a hallow machine

We stand so well in line As we stand idly by Don’t we form such nice lines? As we prepare our goodbyes If you want what is mine You must learn to stand in line You will turn out just fine Once you learn to tow the line… We are all robots at heart We are the robots We are all robots at heart We are the robots We are all robots at heart We are the robots

Robots Fade Away, its my last mayday Eyes are opened wide, blood pours out my side You answered my call, distressed and all I’m so glad to lay eyes on… You my darling child, looking meek and mild You’re so precious; it was worth my life…

You win some and you loose some But you pray when all is said and done That you do not become that which you have fought Cause you can win the battle and still loose the war I fought that battle and I almost lost the war I’m like freaking Darth Vader at the end of film 6 Just a mangled mess of circuits and flesh And just like that fallen Jedi, I cast off my machinery to take one last pure breath And in that moment I realize Because I did not lose you, I did not lose the war Because I did not lose you, I did not lose the war Because I did not lose you, I did not lose the war Because I did not lose you, I did not lose the war This was never about them, it was always about us They’d like you to think it was about them, but really it was about us This was never about them, it was always about us They’d like you to think it was about them, but really it was about us Because I did not lose you, I did not lose the war Because I did not lose you, I did not lose the war Because I did not lose you, I did not lose the war Because you did not lose me, You Have Won The War

about

The fourth album from this experimental indie rock band tells stories about Robots, Cowboys, Love and Life in a way that is both fun and thought provoking. No instrument is off limits; Jaw Harp, Synthesizer, Vocorder, Ukulele, Harmonica and Omnichord, merge with the traditional Guitar, Bass and Drums to create a sound that blurs the lines between rock, folk, and electronic music.
